Smartphone integration
Smartphone integration wirelessly connects the mobile phone to the MBUX multimedia system via Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. This gives you convenient access to the most important apps on your smartphone. You can also use apps from third-party providers such as Spotify quickly and easily. Apple CarPlay™ is a product of Apple Inc. Android Auto is a product of Google Inc. Device and app providers’ terms and conditions and privacy policy apply to the supply and use of these functions. Functions require compatible device and data plan. Data plan fees and charges are those applicable to the users compatible device. Apps, content and their features are determined by the relevant provider and not Mercedes-Benz. Vehicle audio/infotainment interface may not be used simultaneously with these functions. When functions are active, steering-wheel voice control button uses Siri® or Google voice recognition software for voice commands. Phone and internet compatability, connectivity and capabilities differ between devices, markets and vehicles. Fingerprint sensor
Your fingerprint is the key to your personal data. One tap on the illuminated area is enough to release profiles or payment transactions. This biometric identification is not only more convenient but also more secure than entering a PIN.
Extended MBUX functions
The MBUX extended functions are completely customised to you. Say "Hey Mercedes" - MBUX then waits for your wishes and learns thanks to the online connection. Personal profiles and predictive functions completely redefine what digital networking means. The components marked with * are Digital Extras. To use them, a personal Mercedes me ID and acceptance of the terms of use for the Digital Extras and smart control Services are required. In addition, the respective vehicle must be paired with the user account. Upon expiry of the initial term of three years, Digital Extras can be renewed for a fee, provided they are still offered for the corresponding vehicle at that point. Initial activation of the services is possible within 1 year of initial registration or commissioning by the customer, whichever comes first. Connection of the communication module to the mobile phone network, including Mercedes-Benz emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of network providers.
Head-up display
Keep your eyes on the road: The head-up display transforms your windscreen into a digital cockpit. With the virtual, full-colour image, you always have a direct view of key information. Your full attention remains on the road and the traffic in front of you. Head-up display is a driver’s aid function only. Display may not be visible with certain eyewear (such as polarised glasses).
Driver display
Customise your cockpit: With the 12.3" fully digital, free-standing driver display, you decide what information is important to you while driving. Only the display of the speed and information on the assistance systems are fixed. You can select additional content and display styles from 5 menus.
Digital radio
Discover a new dimension of entertainment. With a wide range of programmes, digital radio offers you acoustic diversity in perfection. Choose your favourites and experience information and music with crystal-clear, noise-free reception – a listening experience that enriches every journey. The use of some Digital Extras requires the permanent acceptance of the Terms of Use for Digital Extras and the Mercedes me ID Terms of Use as amended, the permanent linking of the vehicle with the Mercedes-Benz user account, the consent to the storage and retrieval of information necessary for the activation of some Digital Extras in the linked vehicle and – where applicable – the activation of the Digital Extras. At the end of limited terms, Digital Extras can be extended for a fee in the Mercedes-Benz Store, provided they are still available for the vehicle in question at that time. In addition, there may be further usage requirements or restrictions for the use of some Digital Extras, such as a separate customer contract with a third-party provider (e.g. streaming, conclusion of a data contract for "comfort data volume", navigation functions), the activation of additional Digital Extras to ensure functionality or selected products from third-party providers (e.g. smartphone, smartwatch). As an alternative to "Comfort data volume", the customer's own data volume (e.g. mobile hotspot) must be used, depending on the generation of your multimedia system. Information on personal data processed for the use of Digital Extras can be found in the Privacy Policy for Digital Extras. The connection of the communication module to the mobile phone network including the emergency call system depends on the respective network coverage and availability of network providers.
USB Package Plus
With a total of 6 USB-C ports and 2 12 V sockets, you and your passengers can easily charge mobile devices. All USB ports in the vehicle offer fast-charging capability. Using devices connected in the front, you can also import data such as your stored music to the MBUX multimedia system. USB Package Plus is not available with the Plus Package on C 200, C 300 and C 350 e.
USB Package
Your digital interface in the vehicle: With a total of 3 USB-C ports in the centre console, you and your front passenger can conveniently charge mobile devices. You can also use connected devices to upload data or seamlessly integrate your smartphone into the multimedia system via Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™.
Burmester surround sound system
Enjoy the legendary Burmester® sound experience – with 15 loudspeakers and 710 watts system output. You can adjust the impressive 3D surround sound individually for the front and rear seats according to your listening taste. For a particularly rich surround sound, you can play music in Dolby Atmos® quality.
Central display
Brilliance in portrait format: The high-resolution central display shows information in brilliant picture quality. It is operated by touch input. The fully glazed screen is tilted slightly towards the driver, making it easier to operate and read. The climate control functions are also operated via the touch display.
Wireless charging for mobile devices - front
Store and charge: Your mobile device has its firm place in the front of the centre console, where it is charged wirelessly. The system supports all Qi-compatible devices and makes the charging process effortless.
