To deliver exceptional handling with comfort and dependability to suit our roads, the Seltos was subjected to an extensive local ride and handling tuning program over thousands of kilometres across urban and country roads in Australia.
Engines
Excite yourself with the dynamic All Wheel Drive 1.6L turbo charged engine or enjoy the efficient Front Wheel Drive 2.0L Multi-point injection engine.
2.0L MPi engine available on all grades.
1.6L T-GDI engine available on Sport+ AWD and GT-Line AWD grades.
Transmissions
The 2.0 MPi engine is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) for a smooth ride, while the 1.6T-GDi engine is mated to a tried & proven 8-speed auto. 8-Speed automatic available on GT-Line AWD & Sport+ AWD grades. CVT available on all grades.
Drive Mode System
Choose from 3 drive modes; Normal, Sport & Eco to suit your preference and driving conditions.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA)*
The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance (RCCA) system activates when reversing out of a parking spot or driveway.
The system warns the driver if it detects any incoming traffic in either direction behind the vehicle while the vehicle is reversing and also applies the brakes to help reduce the risk of collision.
Lane Following Assist (LFA) & Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)*
Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) will sense if the car is drifting out of the lane, providing audio-visual alerts & haptic steering feedback to assist the driver to correct. Lane Following Assist (LFA) will help the vehicle remain in the centre of the lane by continuously correcting the course of the vehicle.
Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA)*
When the indicators are activated, the BCA system uses Electronic Stability Control to activate the brakes and help prevent or reduce the risk of collision if it detects an oncoming car in the blind spot.
Front and rear parking sensors*
Know your surroundings better with front and rear parking sensors giving an audible warning when detecting certain objects close to your vehicle. Perfect for when manoeuvring into tight spaces.
Rear Occupant Alert (ROA)*
The Rear Occupant Alert system tracks the history of the rear door to remind drivers to check rear seats when exiting the vehicle to prevent children, pets or items being left behind.
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA)*
The Intelligent Speed Limit Assist system automatically recognises speed limit signs while you drive & provides audio/visual warnings when travelling over the limit.
