The Golf R features two additional profiles: the "Special" profile is tuned to the bumps, elevations and corners of the iconic Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit, while the "Drift" profile distributes 100% of the rear torque to one wheel for optimal driving dynamics away from public roads.

Everything you need for the road is at your fingertips thanks to the Digital Cockpit Pro, with unique R skin and graphics, and Discover Pro Navigation System. Your maps can also be projected on the Head Up Display so you can easily follow directions without taking your eyes off the road. The R Range takes your safety seriously. Using a multi-function camera and radar Lane Assist can ensure you stay within lane markings while Front Assist can monitor potential collisions. The rear-view camera and semi-automated Park Assist’s sensors help you manoeuvre into tricky parallel and right-angle spots with ease. If that’s not enough, the R Range also features new safety systems that support you in critical situations, activate protective mechanisms to tighten seatbelts and roll the windows up, or even bring the vehicle to a stop.3
The T‑Roc R is here
The T‑Roc R has joined the R Range in 2022. This high-performance SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, offering 221kW. This is complemented by a sporty new design, making the T‑Roc a worthy addition to the R Range.

Combining a 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor, the Touareg R is the first Volkswagen plug-in hybrid to be released in Australia. The Touareg R eHybrid perfectly balances electrified efficiency and high performance.
